Sekai -Sekai- ART NIGHT WALK

Out of curiosity the world has been read

OPEN EVERY NIGHT

大濠公園 日本庭園

OHORI PARK JAPANESE GARDEN

SCROLL

About

What is Sekai?

Rainbows, auroras, prisms, flowers, clouds.
And the unseen — sound and magnetism.

In this world, there are phenomena that still exist in beauty, even as they elude our understanding. Drawn to their wonder, people have admired them, revered nature, and expressed the world in countless forms.

The Japanese garden that serves as this year's stage is itself such a place — one that has received nature's beauty through human sensibility and, with stone, water, plants, and empty space, distilled and crystallized it into a single world.

In the same spirit, "Sekai -SEKAI-" is a night event that carries that sensibility into the present, expressing the beautiful phenomena that fill the world through contemporary art technology.

A new nighttime experience, born of reverence and longing for nature.

That is Sekai.

Experience

See it, photograph it, walk it, play it.

A digital art experience to react to and enjoy.

Full-dome projection mapping unfolds across a giant sphere floating on the water. Enveloped by the glowing sphere and its reflection on the surface, visitors enjoy a dreamlike photo experience, as if floating on the water itself.

Throughout the garden are countless photo spots that you can't help but capture — rainbows, a glowing Earth, countless floating flowers, a forest of prisms, and more.

There's more: clap your hands and colors spread out, turn a handle and light races across, play the piano and the forest's glow responds. The scenery shifts with your own movements — playful touches that children can enjoy too.

Step into the world's beautiful phenomena and savor the experience to the fullest.
